Season membership, 2026–27
A season membership puts a player on the association’s roll for the year and gives them a card that verifies anywhere, from a phone or from print.
What it covers
- Entry to association events at the members’ rate, where a tournament sets one.
- A card that an arbiter can verify at the board by scanning it — no login, no app, and it works on a printed copy.
- A standing record of the season on the player’s profile, which is what selection for district and state events is read from.
How to take one out
Membership is recorded in person at the association office or at a tournament desk, against a receipt. Bring the player’s registration code. The card appears on the account that registered them as soon as it is recorded — there is nothing to collect and nothing to wait for.
The player must already be on the register. Registration is free and takes a few minutes.
