District Selection Tournament for Senior State Chess Championship
Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh: The Bhadohi Chess Association, in association with the UP Chess Sports Association, is set to organise the 1st Bhadohi Chess Championship – District Selection Tournament on 11 October 2026 at Green View Public School, Bhadohi.
The championship will provide an important competitive platform for chess players from the district, with four players to be officially selected to represent Bhadohi at the upcoming Senior State Chess Championship.
The tournament will be conducted in Rapid Chess format under the Swiss System, with a time control of 15 minutes + 10 seconds increment. The entry fee for participation is ₹300.
The event reflects the association’s continued efforts to promote competitive chess in Bhadohi and provide local players with opportunities to compete at higher levels.
