1st Bhadohi Chess Championship

1. The championship will be conducted under the FIDE Laws of Chess and applicable AICF regulations.

2. The tournament will follow the Swiss System, with pairings managed through Swiss-Manager.

3. Players must report at their boards before the scheduled start of each round. The applicable default time will be announced by the Chief Arbiter.

4. Players must follow all fair-play, anti-cheating and electronic-device regulations applicable to the event.

5. The Chief Arbiter's decisions regarding the conduct of play shall be final, subject to the applicable FIDE appeal provisions.

6. In case of equal points, the following tie-breaks will be applied in order:

a. Buchholz Cut 1 b. Buchholz c. Sonneborn-Berger d. Direct Encounter e. Number of Wins f. Number of Wins with Black

1. The four highest-ranked eligible players in the final standings will be selected to represent Bhadohi District at the upcoming State Senior Chess Championship, subject to applicable eligibility and State/AICF regulations.

2. In case of a tie affecting a qualifying position, the published tie-break criteria will determine the final ranking.

3. Any matter not specifically covered will be decided by the Chief Arbiter/Organising Committee in accordance with the FIDE Laws of Chess and applicable regulations.
